We are only a few weeks away from our most exciting event of the year!

The Building Our Future in AI: Latin@ Summit is coming to Toronto, and we are proud to announce that this year’s showcase will be hosted at OCAD University. Get ready for a collaborative, inclusive space to connect, share knowledge, and co-create solutions that advance representation and equity in technology.

Whether you're an AI beginner, a student exploring tech, or a professional passionate about digital equity, this event welcomes you with open arms. 

đź’ˇYour registration gives you access to two connected experiences:

đź’» Virtual Prep Session (Zoom)

  • Monday, February 16-26, 2026— Evening (6:30pm to 10:00pm)

    We’ll introduce the Vibe Coding hackathon, form or finalize teams, walk through tools and submission guidelines, and offer short learning sessions to help you shape your ideas.

đź’­ In-Person Summit & Final Showcase

  • Saturday, February 28, 2026 – 9:30 AM–5:00 PM
    OCAD Rosalie Sharp Pavilion, 115 McCaul St, Toronto


    A full day of networking, a “Latin@s in AI” panel, 10–16 platform/project showcases (5-minute pitches + demos), community expo tables, preliminary survey results from the Canadian National Latino Community Survey, and an awards ceremony celebrating the top three projects.

đź“Š Your Voice Matters! Before the summit, we are gathering critical insights through the Latin Community Survey. Results will be used to develop solutions during our sessions in Toronto. Help us reach our goal!
